Gradients Glass

Atmosphere, made visible.

Soft light without edges, the way a hazy moon looks through mist. Shape color, light and grain into a mood, right in your browser.

Oboro is the Japanese word for hazy, misty, dim.

It appears in oborozuki, the hazy moon: a moon seen through spring mist, its light soft and without edges. It is one of the classic images of Japanese poetry.

Oborawai takes that root and adds a soft final syllable. It is not a dictionary word. It is a name chosen for what it calls to mind: mist, haze, light that blends rather than cuts.

The tools work the same way. Nothing here has a hard edge. Every gradient is made of blur, grain and color laid over color.
